One of our core values is to align ourselves with our customer's success. MAU often counts (and charges) for any sudden influx of one-off players that don't stick around. We instead only want to charge for players that are actively engaging with the game. Player hours are calculated by counting how many unique active users (user creation and management, lobby and social, storage, etc) there are in one hour.
The development environment is an environment for game developers to experiment with various AGS features and test the AGS backend integration with their game. It's designed for titles currently being developed and not optimized for handling a large number of players or high traffic. The production environment on the other hand is designed to handle a much larger number of concurrent users. The production environment can handle tens, hundreds, or even millions of concurrent users, depending on the size and scope of the game.
Starter is the free to use (up to 50,000 player hours per month or 1 Million accounts) shared cloud environment of the AccelByte Gaming Services (AGS) platform that allows developers to Build, Test, and Launch their games with access to all of our Core services. AGS Premium (including Standard, Professional and Enterprise tiers) is a hosted, single-tenant solution with access to dedicated LiveOps and Developer support in addition to customisation options; AGS Premium can scale without limit.

Access all ADT capabilities (including build distribution, crash reporting, play testing, and performance profiling), and support PS5, XBox X/S, PS4, XBoxOne, Linux and Windows.
All studios using ADT are granted 100GB of free monthly data transfer into or out of S3/ CloudFront (e.g., builds assets/ executables, PDB, symbol, minidumps).
If you exceed that data transfer limit, don’t worry, any additional data volume will be processed on-demand and charged based on a tiered pricing system with volume discounting.
