This page contains the AccelByte Extend pricing information. Extend charges for Virtual Machine uses per hour, Data Transfer Egress, and Logs ingested size.

How is Extend priced?

The total cost of utilizing Extend amounts to the following:
$0.198 per VM-hour + your Data Egress usage + $0.255 per GB of Ingested Logs

VM-Hour

The VM-Hours is the number of hours the VM is running to host your Extend apps.
Hosted Extend services run in standardized VM with 2 cores and 4 GB, each priced at $0.198 per hour.

Data Transfer Egress

Note
The data transfer region is determined based on the origin traffic's region.

The data transfer egress refers to traffic that goes out to the internet.
We do not charge for data transfer into Extend app. The rates start at $0.102 per GB and are as follows:

Logs ingested

The Logs ingested is the amount of logs in GB that are generated by your Extend app. Extend app's log ingestion will charge a flat fee of $0.255 per GB.

Pricing FAQs

What is the billing granularity for the VM?

There is a one-hour minimum charge per VM. Your hosted Extend usage is calculated by the hour from the time an VM is launched until it's terminated.

What determines my consumption of the VM?

Consumption depends on the specific application's implementation and resources (CPU and memory) and the frequency of requests received by the Extend apps. Extend will do horizontal auto-scaling to support increasing player count.
